Things to know about COCO Tennis Academy

  • We will do our best to respond to your calls and messages, however if you are calling about the status of your lesson because of weather, we may not be able to respond as we are already on-court. Therefor if you don’t hear from us, your lesson is on as scheduled.

  • Tennis balls aren’t cheap, please keep them within the boundaries of the court, if you lose a ball out of the boundaries or onto another court, we kindly ask for you to retrieve it where possible.

  • Please make sure your coach is aware of how you will be paying for your class before leaving the facility.

  • Limited Tennis Racquets are available to borrow, borrowed racquets are not guaranteed. so we kindly ask for you to acquire your own tennis racquet before enrolling. If you need assistance with racquets please ask one of our friendly coaches.

  • Please don’t be late for your lesson as your coach will not be able to go overtime as we run a back to back booking schedule. Additionally, please ensure you have cleaned your court and are packed up before the next booking begins.

  • Family/friends are welcome on court and may sit under shade sales or assist with picking up balls during the session.

COCO Tennis Academy Policies, Terms and Conditions

Section 1, Understanding Policies, Terms and Conditions:

Enrolling in any services provided by COCO Tennis Academy you agree to respect and adhere with all Policies, Terms and Conditions listed below.

Section 2, Payment

2:1 Group Term Payment: Red Ball, Junior Group classes and any other classes with a player capacity limit are paid as full term payments with a one (1) free class deduction per term when a full school term (QLD State School Term Duration) payment is made. This full term payment discount option is also available but not mandatory for all other group lessons, including but not limited to Squads and Cardio Tennis.

2.2 Group Casual Payment: If the participant does not wish to continue their enrolment for the full term, the participant has the option to pay for their first lesson only at the casual rate and will not be committed to any further classes.

2.3 Other Casual Payments: Week to week payment options are accepted for Private Lessons, Adult Tennis and any lessons without a player capacity limit. The casual rate will be listed on the advertised service and does not receive the one (1) free class deduction.

Section 3, Cancelations, Washouts and Make Up Lessons

3.1 Cancelations: A cancelation policy of at least one (1) hour before class start time is mandatory. Failure to notify the provider within one (1) hour of casual booking may result in a cancelation fee. Failure to notify provider within one (1) hour of group booking may result in forfeit of make up lesson.

3.2 Make Up/Rescheduled Lessons: Make up lessons for participant cancelled services are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and provider discretion.

3.3 Washouts/Severe Weather Conditions: Washouts and Severe Weather Conditions cancelations are subject to providers discretion only and in cases of pre-service payment will result in the choice of a Make Up Lesson (3.2) or credit deducted from the following payment, E.g the following terms payment. Presumption of Washout or Severe Weather Conditions cancelation may result in cancelation fee or forfeit of make up lesson and/or credit.
